Banking facilities
There is an ATM situated at the entrance to exhibition Hall M which is located on the corner of Ripon Road and King's Road. You won't be charged for withdrawing cash from this machine.
Business centre
Harrogate International Centre's conference centre reception and exhibition Hall Q support office are happy to offer fax, photocopying services and general information about Harrogate, ordering taxis and providing basic stationery supplies.
Car parks
There are 450 car parking spaces at the Harrogate International Centre, for charges see parking for details.
Catering
Paying delegates to Managing Long Term Conditions will receive morning coffee, a hot lunch and afternoon tea as part of their ticket.
Non-paying visitors will have access to cash outlets serving a range of food and drink items.
All catering will be held in the exhibition hall and there will be various café points to alleviate waiting times for service.
Cloakroom
There will be cloakroom facilities located just inside the doors from Springfield House Lobby, by the escalators going up to the second floor of the Queen's Suite.
The cloakroom will not accept any electrical appliances (such as mobile phones, laptops, computers, etc) nor will it receive the delegate event bags, or copious amounts of luggage.
There will be a £2 charge per item.

These will be available from the registration desks from the lunch break.
Delegates
Managing Long Term Conditions is the UK's largest conference & exhibition addressing the management of long-term conditions. It attracts more than 1,000 visitors. For more information on the delegates see our visitor profiles.
Disabled visitors
There are 12 car park spaces for blue badge holders, unlimited time at no cost. These are within easy access of the lift which gives direct access to all facilities. The lift will give you access to King's Road. From there it is only a short distance to the Springfield entrance and into the Queen's Suite registration area.
Guide dogs are always welcome. If you intend to bring a guide dog, please let us know so that refreshments can be provided for your dog.

Event guide
The event guide can be collected when you arrive from the registration area — in the Queen’s Suite Lobby off the main Springfield House Entrance on Kings Road.

Fire and emergency procedures
In the event of a fire, please raise the alarm immediately and vacate the venue. If you hear an alarm please be alert to the loudspeaker announcements and follow the direction of the event staff. Do not use the lifts in the event of an emergency evacuation. Please note there is a strict no smoking policy within the venue.
First aid
There are First Aid facilities on-site and will be available during the event and build-up and breakdown hours.
All incidents resulting in injury or illness must be reported to an event staff member and logged with the on-site risk assessor.
Food and drink

Internet access
Delegates and visitors to Managing Long Term Conditions can access the internet via the Harrogate International Centre's WiFi access card.
Using laptops brought with them, delegates and visitors can purchase WiFi access cards from the Harrogate International Centre reception or from any catering outlet in the Exhibition Village. Costs are:
- £4 for 1 hour
- £75 for one day
- £195 for the entire event
Users of the WiFi access card are able to log on and off as required.
LTC TV
A new initiative in 2009, Long Term Conditions TV is the television programme that is broadcast at conferences and on the web. It includes coverage of all the news, views, and examples of best practice from all those involved in the management of long-term conditions.

Media will be invited to attend Managing Long Term Conditions and will be provided with a Fact Sheet and Media Alert.

Registration
Registration will be situated within the main Springfield House Lobby, off King's Road, at the Queen's Suite Lobby.
When you arrive at the Harrogate International Centre please make your way to the Managing Long Term Conditions registration area. This will be sign-posted and will be situated in the Queen's Suite Lobby (access via the Springfield House lobby on King's Road).
Here you'll pick up your Event Guide.
For health and safety reasons, we need to know how many people have turned up to the event, so it's important you register – even if you already have your badge and know where you're going.
How to register

May I register by phone?
The easiest way to register is online.
Due to the volume of people wanting to register, and the amount of information we need to garner from you, it is impractical to register over the telephone.
What happens after I've registered?
If you've registered online you will receive a confirmation email shortly after you've finished the online process. This email will include venue information as well as confirmation of the conference sessions you've chosen.
If you've registered via fax or post you will also receive a confirmation email but it will take a little longer to arrive in your inbox.
Three weeks before the event you will also receive your badge in the post.
If you've registered but you haven't submitted an email address, you will receive your badge in the post three weeks before the event. If you don't receive it by then please email conferences@emap.com.
What if I haven't registered before I arrive at the venue?
If you've decided to come to Managing Long Term Conditions at the last minute and haven't had time to previously register, don't worry. You can register on-site.
Note that the event is a first-come first-served basis and that it is recommended you register as soon as possible as places are capped for each stream due to venue size constraints.

Smoking
Managing Long Term Conditions is a non-smoking event. Should you need to smoke you will need to do so outside the buildings at the Harrogate International Centre.
Students
Students are able to attend Managing Long Term Conditions by registering as either a paying delegate or a free visitor.
