This session will concentrate on the longer term support required by people following a stroke and will include:
- The care of a person following a Stroke within primary care
- The role of the primary care team in health promotion and Stroke prevention
- The effects of Stroke on the individual, society and the NHS
- Look at the professional, statutory and government frameworks that influence the rovision of services for Stroke patients
